Freddie Mae Parks

Freddie Mae Parks of Pine Bluff died June 10, 2013 at her home. She was born March 14, 1940, to late Fred Ferguson, Sr. and Mary Mitchell Ferguson in Pine Bluff.

Survivors include three sons; Nathaniel (Kathia) Betts of Pine Bluff, Lonzo (Gwen) Urquhart of Los Angeles, Calif., and Michael (Stacy) Parks of Hensley, Ark.; a grandson whom she raised, Clenzell (India) Parks of Carson Calif.; three daughters; JoAnn Baker of Los Angeles, Calif., Patricia (Elliott) Nichols of Senegal, West Africa and Debra (Anthony) Nelson of Little Rock; four brothers; Andrew Ferguson, Robert Ferguson, Roosevelt Ferguson and Clifton Ferguson all of Pine Bluff; two sisters; Helen Watkins and Mary Ann Ferguson of Pine Bluff; 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday June 17, 2013 at Galilee Baptist Church by Rev. George H. Barnes. Burial will be in Henson Memorial Garden by Henson-Holcomb Mortuary. Visitation will be Sunday June 16, 2013 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the mortuary.

The Remains will lie in state at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time
